The Iron Man Suit:
Although the real technology is still far from the one displayed on the movie, the idea of exoskeleton frame is far from new. It is already introduced since the Aliens movie, known as the Caterpillar Power Loader J-5000. The current technology is already reached the stage of the one that showed on the Alien movie, but to each the stage of battle suit like shown on Iron Man might still a few more decades. The idea of exoskeleton its self is to help human doing repeated and regular movement, and at the same time increasing the amount of weight that can be handled. Add some laser beam, fighting jet HUD system, jet booster, some missiles (and armor than can withstand missiles impact), and you will have the exoskeleton similar to the Iron Man suit. Well, I guess that is easier said than done.

The word “fiction” means fantasy or imagination., but when we speak about “science fiction”, it might reflect our future, since this fantasy or imagination is based on science, means it is based on some truth, something real, or in the simpler manner, this “fantasy” or “ imagination” might came true, and some are possible to be achieved in the near future.
The latest science-fiction box office movie “Iron Man 2” for example. In this movie, we are pampered by lots of stunning high tech gadgets. But do you know that some of them are only inches away from reality. Some of them are even based on today’s high tech gadgets that already running but not but not yet known widely.
Let’s take a closer look of these gadgets.
Touch screen coffee table computer:
This awesome piece of gadget is one of my favorite between the gadgets. Why? Because it is simply cool and amazing, not to mention it display the gorgeous pictures of Scarlett Johansson. Maybe only few people know that the current version of this very awesome device already exists. Made by the giant computer manufacturer, Microsoft, this current device called Microsoft Surface. While the current version of the device is still lack of smooth handling and transition, unlike its sci-fi version, Microsoft Surface is already heading to the dreamt technology we saw on the movie (you might not so impressed when you see those same gadgets you see in the movie without its visual effects).
