The latest smartphone from Apple has clearly revolutionized the way in how humans interact not only with humans through their smartphones, but also with their environment. Smartphones are now no longer only able simple devices that allow you to enjoy music, taking beautiful pictures or recording videos. It can now also be used to control various objects located at your kitchen. You will no longer need a superwoman to multi-task your kitchen.
The kitchen island is built on top of a small frame, complete with flooring and sub floor, and lifted using a hydraulic scissor lift. The whole hydraulic system then bolted into the cement. Using a hydraulic system that can lift over 1,500lbs easily, safety is definitely a very important feature! The doors which located at another side of the cabinet are secured using Smart Home Insteon safety switches to ensure the electricity is turned off if any of the doors are not being fully closed to prevent any movement, while the cabinet is made using IKEA hardware and boxes with custom walnut fronts from Scherrs to make it looked like Eco Gadgets. This kitchen island is basically an unfinished storage/utility room.
