More than just fleet tracking

GPS vehicle tracking provides more benefits for fleet owners

While GPS tracking device provides great benefits for personal users such as navigation, vehicle recovery system and tracking the location of family members, it provides even greater benefits for fleet owners. With proper implementation, GPS vehicle tracking is more than just mere instrument of fleet tracking and dispatching. It would be a powerful device which fleet owners are able to use to reduce expenses and increase their profits.

With this device, tracking and dispatching fleet would be more effective and efficient as well, response time and service quality will also significantly improve. This device could also use to monitor driving behavior, eliminating unnecessary stops and idling, avoiding traffic jam, and maximizing fuel and time efficiency. Insurance premium is also greatly reduced for vehicles installed with GPS tracking device.

Blackberry Torch 3G on Orange

by on Sep.19, 2010, under Uncategorized

I’ve been using Blackberry phones for a really long time, as I’ve never been a big fan of phone that relies solely on touch screen for every input. I’ve never yet found a touch screen phone that can really rival having a proper keyboard attached to the device and Blackberry has never failed to disappoint me when it comes to both form and function, so picking up the latest handset from the company – the Blackberry Torch 3G Orange edition, was pretty exciting.

The Torch is still very recognisable as a Blackberry, but it’s the first one I’ve ever used with a slide away keyboard. This is an interesting concept and a sign the company may be moving more towards using touch screens in the future, but it’s actually surprisingly versatile and easy to use. It’s got the obvious benefit of making the phone easier to fit into small pockets as well, and combined with the light weight but solid built it feels like the most durable Blackberry I’ve ever used. The display is touch screen, of course, but there’s a trackpad which you can use as well. The trackpad is very accurate and the touch screen does work really well – Blackberry need to update their software in places though to make it easier to access some of the features. Some buttons are simply too small to press for anyone with regular size hands.

The actual software itself is a modified version of what I’ve seen on other Blackberry phones; fast and simple but powerful and with plenty of different applications. There’s native support for all the social networks built into the OS which is really handy for taking and uploading pictures. Before signing any contract though I would most definately perform a mobile phone coverage check to make sure your area has enough signal and i was looking around the other day and found that you could get mobile phones with free laptops which might be worth checking out.

I’d definitely recommend the Blackberry Torch 3G to any Blackberry fan or even anyone just in the market for a new smart phone.

Search Engine Optimization – Definition and Importance
A lot of people might only know that SEO stands for search engine optimization, but the importance and implementation is known only by few. The simplest explanation for SEO is the way of organizing your web pages in order to achieve first page position on Google search result based on certain keywords. There are millions (or even billions) of websites listed on the internet. Achieving first page position on Google search result held vast importance since the number of information on internet is countless. Searching for information on the internet would be similar to searching for an item in a labyrinth like market, flooded with countless of merchants which offered countless number of items. Search engine is the only way to sort all of these informations. As we all know, the mostly used search engine is Google. Optimizing your website is necessary if you want your website your website to rank first page on Google search result. Only few people that even bother to look for the second and third page; and almost no one would open the tenth page.

How to Perform Search Engine Optimization
There are two main aspects which you need to optimize from your website; on page and off page aspects. Off page factors are backlinks, page rank, and meta descriptions. On page factors are everything regarding the content of your website. Content is what search engine is searching for; therefore on page optimization is mostly about content. Contents of a website need to be informative and also attractive. Your website needs to be friendly not only to search engine, but also to internet user as your targeted customer. Most webmasters only concern in optimizing their website for search engine, and neglect internet user as their end customer. SEO does aim to achieve high rank in search result, but the content of your website must also informative and useful. First page ranking on Google search result will be meaningless if the content of your website is only understandable by robot. Traffic will not be generated from websites with pointless content. Comprehensibility is also something Google included into their algorithm.
